The "Citie of Henricus", the second successful English settlement in Virginia, is comprised of a fee and non fee area. The original site is open to the public. The living history museum can be visited for a fee.
The Dutch Gap Conservation Area surrounds the City of Henricus. Consisting of 810 acres of woodlands and waterways along the James River. Visitors have the opportunity to hike or paddle roughly 300 acres of these wetlands.
