This virtual geocache is a dedication to my Mom who passed away a few years ago.
She loved the beach. She loved Florida. When I was a child, we would travel down from NY and stay at the hotel right up the street. She was thrilled when I moved to Florida and seriously considered buying a condo down the block south from this location, so, I figured what better middle point to reflect and celebrate her life from where we used to vacation to where she wanted to spend the rest of her days.
Since she has passed, I have not seen many signs of her but hope she is there, maybe I just have not opened my heart to the possibility yet. She was very spiritual in the astrological sense. She was a Libra, which is the seventh sign of the zodiac. You will notice one of the signs read: 12 Beach Access, to get credit for this cache, simply message me what you see 12 of at the cache site. (there are exactly 12 of them, each represents a sign of the zodiac)
This is a busy beach and I am betting a lot of folks do not know about this hidden and convenient public beach access location away from the crowds, enjoy!
