You'll want to explore the falls and stream nearby. This cache is a scenic destination waterfall for Kayakers in the spring months. It's a popular run for whitewater enthusiasts. It's name is derived from the fact that as you kayak over the falls you appear to be falling into a wall. If you are lucky and arrive at the right time, you may get to witness a daring kayaker 'pencil in'. (but better to "boof") Many experienced boaters start here and float downstream to do the "fearsome foursome " being sure to take out prior to reaching Franklin Falls. The less experienced sometimes start the run below the falls and claim the stretch without actually running the falls. (Like claiming a smiley when they actually only got close...):( Do not park or attempt cache from I-90! May require a short 100 yard hike in winter due to snow pack closing road during winter months. (KEEP SMALL KIDS BACK UNTIL LOCATED! Fall in the Wall is often overlooked by those on their way to better known Franklin Falls further down the road or one of many nearby trailheads. The cache is placed in commemoration of Hotpapika and Vagabond24's first geocaching event (Going Ape 8/18/13). To locate the falls look for the WPA style rock wall on the right side of the road. DO NOT go over any ledge. When exploring during low water you can access the top of the falls via a small trail to the right of the rock wall. (BE CAREFUL!) Do not slip and fall as the water is cold and dangerous. Keep kids and pets on a leash. formerly a physical cache but vandals continually removed or damaged containers. In order to log the cache you need to post a photo of the falls or area just below containing either your GPS, a personal item like car keys, or travel bug. (Caution, obscure the TB number to avoid people viewing and recording the bug without actually discovering it. ]
