Location
Dubrovnik City Walls are one of the must-see locations while visiting Old Town. The walls have 25m up in the highest point, almost 2000m long and 1.5 to 3m wide. There are 10 towers as a part of Old Town defence system.
At the coordinates, you are standing in my favourite place on the walls, very close to one of the towers before mentioned - Bokar Tower (Tvrdava Bokar). From this location, you can see the best of the best:
- NE - Old Town
- E - beautiful cliffs and further city walls trail
- N - Kriz
- W - Lovrijenac
- S - Lokrum Island (Otok Lokrum) and Adriatic Sea (swim 200km straight in that direction you are in Italy :))
Cache
To log this Virtual Reward cache, please take the photo from GZ with a view to NE (Old Town) with you or your GPS and place it to the log. You can also include other directions.
If for whatever reason you cannot make it on the top, please attach the photo from as close to GZ as possible. You can get close to the walls from both inside and outside (!).
