Welcome to the George Eastman House. The home of the late George Eastman, which has memorialized his life's work, operates daily as a museum, theatre, and tourist attraction. Eastman was an entrepreneur, philanthropist and visionary who put roll-film on the map and created Eastman-Kodak company among his many achievements.
This rare Virtual Cache will bring you to the outside premises of the Eastman House. Walking around the grounds, you will find vast, well-kept gardens, beautiful landscape, and brickwork that makes for a popular backdrop for professional photography. Newlyweds come and take their wedding day photos here, as well as teens coming for prom pictures and "Senior photo" shoots.
To log this cache: Since Eastman was the guru of film, and since people come here for photo shoots, the requirement is to get a picture with the Eastman House somewhere in the background. You can do it the "required way" which is simply to get a picture of you or your GPS. However, if you want to make it fun, pose for a Wedding, Prom or Senior Photo picture, anywhere on the premises, and post it to your log. Your picture might even look something like one of these:
