Thank you for coming out to the National Scouting Museum for the Boy Scouts of America here at Philmont Scout Ranch. This cache has been published in conjunction with the museum. The National Scouting Museum officially opened its doors to the public on June 8, 2018 in the midst of the Ute Park Fire that was consuming parts of the Ranch. Please note that if you are driving in from Eagle’s Nest to be mindful of closures to Highway 64 due to rainfall in the burn scar area. **The cache information will be updated as the season progresses**
The museum is open to the public daily Summer Hours (6/8 – 8/22) 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the Year-Round Hours are 8-5 pm Monday – Saturday with no admission charge.
Please enjoy the museum and the library that is located inside as well! This is a Virtual Cache, there is no physical cache at the coordinates. So how do I log this cache then?
