"Wir lieben dich" = "We love you"
In 2009, we came across a cache that fascinated me. I had never seen a piece of the Berlin wall before! After doing some research, I came to find that these pieces of wall are all over the world! Since then we have visited a few in other states. There's even a small piece at Mount Rushmore!
Here is a little history of this particular section of the Berlin wall. Unlike most pieces of the wall, we have an explanation for what is written on this one by the person who painted it! This is another article about how this particular wall section came to be here at the Mountain View library.
