Geocache Description:

Elizabeth Cady Stanton House - "Grassmere"

Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815-1902) was instrumental in the fight for women's rights. This house, on Washington Street, was deeded to Stanton by her father and she lived here with her family from 1847 to 1862.

The house is located in Seneca Falls, NY, home to the Women's Rights National Historical Park. See the related web page for additional information.
