Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the posted coordinates, but in order to successfully log the cache you will need to email me the code from the puzzle below. Logs that aren't accompanied by the correct code will unfortunately need to be deleted to maintain the integrity of the virtual cache.

Story:

When you get home one day you find a strange package wrapped in brown paper and tied with twine sitting on your front door. The only thing written on the outside is your name. No address or anything else. Curious, you bring the package inside and open it carefully. Inside you find a strange device with a blank screen. Surrounding the screen are various pipes, gears, and electrical wiring. As you hold the device it suddenly whirs to life, and a few puffs of steam are emitted from a pipe on the top. The screen flickers, and the image of a kindly old man appears.

Instructions:

To complete this cache you will be required to play a browser game to receive a completion code. The game will ask you to visit several locations around Lincoln to gather information. This is not a short cache, and you should expect to spend several hours working on it. While it might be possible to complete the cache at night it is highly recommended that you visit during the hours that the Nebraska state capitol building are open to get the full experience. The game will provide you with the coordinates to visit, and you will be prompted to enter the information that you find at the location. Correct submissions will progress the storyline, and after a few twists and turns you will end up at the posted coordinates. If you have any trouble, or have any questions don't hesitate to ask. You can submit your completion code, or ask questions by sending me a message with this link. Have fun!

Browsers:

This cache should run in any browser as it only uses simple html and images. It was designed to look good and intended to be run on smartphones so you can submit your answers and get the next coordinates while out and about. If you don't have internet access on your phone you can still compete the cache, but you will need to return to a location with internet between each stage. This could increase the time required to complete the cache considerably. If the game doesn't load right or look right on your browser let me know so I can try to fix it for you.
