Near the posted coordinates you will find an art sculpture currently titled "UNTITLED" that will soon be named. The 5520 pound sculpture is 30' long, tapers from practically nothing at its narrow end, arching gracefully to a stately height of 15' 4" before reaching 7' 6"at its widest part on the other end. It is made of stainless steel polished to a mirror finish allowing one to see a warped reflection of themselves in it.
To further enhance your experience, an LED light and speaker controlled by keyboard entries will produce light and music to amaze and entertain you. This keyboard is located in a kiosk on the second floor inside the Mayo Civic Center, however, during events it may not be available for public use.
Feel free to walk around and under the sculpture, touching and interacting with it since it is a public display meant for your enjoyment. However, be aware that at times a group may have the adjacent outside area rented for their special event. Please be respectful of them.
Now for the fun!
In order to claim a find for this virtual cache you must do the following:
Note that the "Special Tool Required" attribute is listed. You must bring along with you a sign that has a reverse image of your geocaching name on it. (See suggestions for making your sign below.)
Stand near and face the big end of the sculpture and take a picture of the reflection of your sign.
The photo labeled 'Tonkraeb' in the photo gallery shows a great example of how yours should look.
Include your photo in your "Found It" post. (Please do not send a message with the photo to the CO)
If you have done everything right, your name in the photo will look normal.
Your honesty and integrity is expected as logs/photos will not be monitored for adherence to the above stated rules.
According to guidelines for virtuals, you don't need to show your face in the photo and may wish to block it with your sign. I am more interested in your sign, so focus on that.
The Teamwork attribute has been added as it may be helpful for someone to hold the sign as the photo is taken.
Suggestions for your sign.
-Choose a stiff substrate to avoid wind problems
-Use at least 2 inch high bold characters for legibility (single pen or pencil lines do not show well)
-Abbreviate long names if necessary
-Multiple geocaching names may be included on one sign
