Kurzinformation zur Stadt Rattenberg:
Mit 0,11 km² ist die Stadt Rattenberg flächenmäßig die kleinste Gemeinde und mit 405 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Jänner 2017) auch die kleinste Stadtgemeinde Österreichs. Rattenberg hat sich zudem auch bis heute nahezu zur Gänze sein mittelalterliches Stadtbild bewahrt. Urkundlich wird Rattenberg erstmals 1254 erwähnt. Da die Stadt heute für seine glasverarbeitenden Betriebe bekannt ist, wird sie auch „Glasstadt“ genannt.
Und nun zur Aufgabe:
Zuerst müsst ihr an 5 Stationen Fragen beantworten und die daraus resultierenden Lösungen laut u.a. Formel als E-Mail-Adresse verwenden. Als Betreff bitte unbedingt den Cachernamen anführen! Stimmt die Adresse, bekommt ihr umgehend ein Logfreigabe-Mail. Damit das funktioniert müsst ihr bitte auch ein/zwei Worte in die E-Mail schreiben. Solltet ihr nicht gleich eine Antwort bekommen, bitte den Spam-Ordner checken oder uns per Mail/Message schreiben.
Anschließend müsst ihr noch den Schlossberg erklimmen, bei Station 6 VOR DEM WAPPEN ein Foto von euch (Gesicht muss nicht erkennbar sein, aber GPS alleine reicht nicht!) machen und dieses eurem Log anhängen. Sollte das Tor verschlossen sein, macht einfach ein Foto davor – sh. Wegpunkt 7. Logs ohne Fotos werden kommentarlos gelöscht.

Station 1: Schmiede in den Nagelschmied Häusern, Hausnr. 33
Aufgabe: Finde die 4-stellige Jahreszahl rechts unten am Ofen.
Diese Zahl ist A.
Station 2: Kristall Glas Bläserei Kisslinger, Hausnr. 24
Aufgabe: Finde die 4-stellige Jahreszahl über dem landesfürstlichen
Wappen (oberhalb von Hsnr. 24) Diese Zahl ist B.
Station 3: Stadtbrunnen/Notburgabrunnen
Aufgabe: Finde die Tafel in der Nähe des Brunnen.
Welches ist das 2. Wort in der 7. Zeile? Dieses Wort ist C.
Station 4: Stadt-Apotheke, Pfarrgasse 9
Aufgabe: Finde das antike "Apotheke" Schild. Mit wie vielen
Halterungen ist dieses in der Wand verankert? Diese Zahl ist D.
Station 5: Mariengrotte, Pfarrgasse 92
Aufgabe: Finde den Luster in der Grotte. Wie viele kerzenförmige
Lampen befinden sich auf diesem? Diese Zahl ist E.
Station 6: Burgruine Rattenberg
Aufgabe: Mache ein Foto von dir (Gesicht muss nicht erkennbar sein,
aber GPS alleine reicht nicht!) vor dem Wappen an der Burgmauer.
(sh. Beispielfoto + Wegpunkt 6). Sollte das Tor verschlossen sein,
macht ein Foto vor dem Tor (sh. Beispielfoto 2 + Wegpunkt 7)
Station 7: Burgruine Rattenberg
Alternative falls das Tor geschlossen ist.

A short information about the city Rattenberg:
Rattenberg is about 0,11 km² big, has only 405 residents (as at 01.01.2017) and is therefore the smallest borough in Austria. Rattenberg has also preserved its medieval cityscape almost completely up to now. Rattenberg was docomentary first mentioned in 1254. The city is known today for its glass processing companies and is therefore also called "glass city".
And here’s your task:
First of all you have to visit 5 stations and answer questions. Then you have to insert the results you found in the formula for the e-mail address. Important: Please write your geocaching-name as subject in the mail! If your answers and the determined e-mail-address is correct you will get a log permission mail immediatly. For this to work, you also have to write one/two words as content of the mail. If you don't recive a response, check your spam file, or contact us via mail/messagecenter.
At least you have to walk up to the ruin on the „castle-hill“. At station number 6 you have to take a photo IN FRONT OF THE COAT OF ARMS of you (your face doesn't have to be recognizable, but the GPS alone is not enough) and post it with your log.
If the door is closed, it’s no problem – just take a picture in front of the door (see waypoint 7).
Logs without photo will be deleted without comment.

task: Find the antiquity sign "Apotheke“.
With how many mounts is the sign fixed in the wall?
This number is D.
Station 5:Mariengrotto, Pfarrgasse 92
task: Find the chandelier inside the grotto.
How many candle-shaped bulbs are on it?
The number is E.
Station 6:castle ruin Rattenberg
task: Take a photo of youin front of the coat of arms on the castle wall.
Your face doesn'’t have to be recognizable, but the GPS alone is not
enough! (see example image at waypoint 6).
If the door is closed, take a photo in front of the door instead.

You only need this station if the door is closed and you can’t
get to waypoint 6.
Then take a picture in front of the door instead.

1. Find out the correct e-mail address and write an e-mail with your geocaching name as subject (!) to it
