The Stratham Hill Fire Tower is one of 21 lookout towers in the state of New Hampshire and is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register as US683, NH20.

Built in 1931 by the New Hampshire Department of Forests and Lands on property that was donated to the town of Stratham in 1905, the tower is 53 feet tall and is built of steel. The observation platform is located 45 feet above the ground. Originally the observation booth was made of wood, but was burned in a fire in 1997.
While in operation during the summer months, visitors could climb the tower and sign a guest book. Thousands of people would make the climb before it was turned over to the town of Stratham in 1976. The tower is now managed by the Stratham Fire Department and you can still climb to the top!

2) Next to the tower there is a circular object, what is it and who built it?
3) What number is next to North Hampton in the circle?
4) Optional but highly recommended: Post a picture of yourself with your back to Great Bay (north) at the top of the tower. Please no spoilers in your photos.

It is not a good idea to visit when there are thunderstorms in the area! Please be careful if it is wet, icy or if children are with you.
