Geocache Description:

February 1, 1960 four courageous men took a stand, or rather a seat that started a movement in the US. Ezell Blair Jr., David Richmond, Franklin McCain and Joseph McNeil were students at North Carolina A&T State University. They just wanted to be served lunch. The store manager was Curly Harris and took a no action approach to the four student. No violence. No threats. No humiliation. The bravery of these four students and the compassion of the store manager started what we now know as the civil rights movement. Although it was taking place for over a decade before, this movement had faces, a voice and a place to point 'this is where it started.' To log this virtual, take a picture 'walking in the steps' of these four men and post it with your log. Once you get to the posted coordinates, you will understand what 'walking in their steps' means. No picture, no log.
