It's big.
It's blue.
It's big, blue, and it's been here since 1988.
And nooooo—it's not a tongue. 😊
It's The Wave by Halifax artist Donna Hiebert. The Wave was intended to involve passers-by and induce them to interact with it.
This iconic sculpture on the Halifax waterfront is enjoyed by young and old alike and is not to be missed. ❤️
If you had a memorable and fun visit at my virtual, please feel free to give a favourite point ❤️ so that other geocachers will get to experience it too. Thanks!
To claim this virtual geocache:
- In your log, post a picture of you (or your group of geocachers) interacting with the sculpture.
- Feel free to be as (safely) creative as you want to be: stand underneath, sit on it, climb it, hold it, do a push-up on it, do the wave, lift it, high-five it, hug it—let your imagination run wild! 😀
- Have fun with your picture and give subsequent geocachers something to smile at when your log is read.
(Logs without a photo that meets the requirement may be deleted without notice.)
