Although there are many modern beautiful buildings in Toronto, take a trip to see this rare beauty from the past. It is Toronto’s only castle. Casa Loma was built by Sir Henry Pellatt in 1911 at a cost of 3.5 million dollars. It took 300 workers, three years to complete. Rather than put all of the photos and detailed information on this page, I have provided a link below to a website on the history of the castle. Parking is right next to GZ, on the castle grounds.
