Geocache Description:

The redeveloped Adelaide Oval is considered one of the best sporting venues in the world.
The 53,000 capacity stadium frequently has to put the ‘sold out’ sign up, whether it be for a Crows or Power AFL match, an Adelaide United Grand Final, a Day/Night Cricket Test Match, a Strikers 20/20 match or for a rock concert.

The playing surface is always immaculate and the facilities are second to none.
The old scoreboard and the Cathedral backdrop also ensure that the venue retained its nostalgic appearance and historic relevance.

The stadium is graced with a number of statues of our best Australian Football and Cricket sporting legends, affectionately known as "The Brass Club’.

There are currently 8 sporting statues.
Four Australian Football players have been immortalised: Barry Robran (A), Malcolm Blight (B), Russel Ebert (C) and last week on August 17, Ken Farmer (D)
There are also four cricket statues. Don Bradman’s statue (E) was already in place before the Oval redevelopment. New statues of Jason Gillespie (F), Darren Lehmann (G) and George Giffen (H) are inside the grounds. The planned statue of Clem Hill (I) is yet to be commissioned.

To claim a smiley on this Virtual reward cache you need to do the following:
(Naturally I had to put a little bit of a puzzle element into this cache)

Visit the statue at the posted coordinates and read the plaque. From this plaque you need one letter as per the instruction. Next visit the statue associated with the letter you found. Repeat the process until you have determined the sequence of 6 of the statues.

Stage 1: Find the fourth letter of the 3rd line of the player honours on the plaque and visit the corresponding statue
Stage 2: Find the seventh letter of the Coaching record on the plaque of the second statue and visit the corresponding statue
Stage 3: Determine the fourth letter of the surname of the person depicted in the third statue and visit the corresponding statue
Stage 4: Find the 1st letter of the surname this sporting legend is compared to on the plaque of the fourth statue and visit the corresponding statue
Stage 5: Find the fourth letter of the first line of player honours on the plaque of the fifth statue and determine the corresponding statue

Combine the letter belonging to the first statue with the 5 letters you have found and send this sequence of 6 letters to the CO by Email or message. (this is just a string of letters, there is no code word to be created here)
You can also simply send me the names of the 6 statues.

Optionally take a photo of yourself at the statue of your favourite sporting legend, if possible whilst wearing the outfit or scarf of your favourite sporting team.

There is no need to wait for a response from the CO before logging this cache. However the CO reserves the right to delete the log if the answer is incorrect or not provided.

The last statue is inside the gate and can generally not be visited unless you are a paying customer. There is no need to go to the last statue to complete the virtual cache.Just his letter or name will suffice.
