- Vær især forsigtig med vintersejlads. En tur i det kolde vand er livsfarlig!


Vi elsker at sejle, og vi elsker at se og fotografere vores flotte broer nedefra - i alle mulige vinkler. Vores yndlingsaftentur en smuk sommeraften er en tur under Lillebæltsbroerne. Fra Fredericia ned gennem Lillebælt. Grill eller i det mindste en kop kaffe i Kolding Fjord eller Gamborg Fjord. Og så hjem igen, når mørket har lagt sig. Op gennem bæltet og under broerne mellem lysene fra Middelfart og Fredericia. Så sover man godt, når man kommer hjem - en smuk oplevelse rigere.

Den gamle Lillebæltsbro

Den gamle Lillebæltsbro er en kombineret jernbane- og vejbro og blev den første faste forbindelse mellem Jylland og Fyn. Den blev opført i perioden 1925 - 1935 og kostede i alt 42 mio. kr. Det var mange penge i mellemkrigsårenes depression, men faktisk blev den store investering et bidrag til begyndende økonomisk fremgang. De nye arbejdspladser satte gang i økonomien, og tekniske udfordringer ved byggeriet gjorde, at nye løsninger blev udviklet og afprøvet. Således var broen bæredygtig - også i økonomisk forstand.

Broen er en kombination af to forskellige brotyper. Over land begyndes og afsluttes broen af buebroer udført i jernbeton. Jernbanedelen understøttes af buer bestående af 2 ribber på hver 3 meters bredde, hvorimod de to ribber under vejdelen kun er 1½ meter brede. Denne brotype kræver stillads under støbearbejdet.

Over vand er der tale om en gitterdragerbro i stål. Den er konstrueret som en såkaldt cantileverbro, som ikke kræver stillads under opførelsen. Stålkonstruktionen blev bygget ud fra de enkelte bropiller således at den hele tiden var i balance, indtil hele gitterdrageren nåede sammen.

Den nye Lillebæltsbro

Den nye Lillebæltsbro er en hængebro som bærer en sekssporet motorvej. Den blev opført i perioden 1965 - 1970.

De 120 meter høje pyloner er støbt i beton. Herpå hviler de 1500 m lange kabler, som bærer brodrageren. Hvert kabel er 58 cm. i diameter og består af 61 snoede præfabrikerede delkabler.

Selve brodrageren, hvorpå vejbanen er anlagt, er en hul, strømlinjeformet kasse i stål. Den er fremstillet i sektioner på 12 meter, som blev svejset sammen to og to, inden de blev sejlet ud på bæltet og hejst på plads hængende i det store brokabel. Man begyndte fra midten og arbejdede sig udefter.

For at logge cachen som fundet, skal du bevise, at du har oplevet den dejlige bådtur under broerne i Lillebælt.

Skriv dit geo-navn på et stykke papir og lad det indgå i et par billeder af broerne set nedefra - dvs. minimum ét billede pr. bro. Det er også i orden, hvis du selv er med på billederne i stedet for dit geonavn. Vælg selv den kønneste løsning!
Billederne skal tages fra positioner i vandet under broernes midterfag. Det skal klart fremgå, at billederne er taget fra vandsiden. Manipulerede billeder medfører øjeblikkelig sletning af loggen.

Bridges must be seen from below

We love sailing, and we love to take pictures of our beautiful bridges from below - in every possible angle. Our favorite for a beautiful summer evening is a trip under the Little Belt bridges. From Fredericia down the Little Belt. A cup of coffee in Kolding Fjord or Gamborg Fjord. And then home again after sunset when darkness has subsided. Up through the belt and under the bridges between the lights from Middelfart and Fredericia. Then you sleep well when you get home - a beautiful experience richer.

The Old Little Belt Bridge

The Old Little Belt Bridge is a combined rail and road bridge and became the first regular connection between Jutland and Funen. It was built in the period 1925 - 1935 and cost a total of 42 million DKr. This was a lot of money in the depression of the interwar years, but the big investment was a contribution to the beginning of economic progress. The new jobs was good for the economy, and the technical challenges of the construction ment, that new solutions were developed and tested.

The bridge is a combination of two different bridge-types. Over the land the bridge begins and ends with arch bridges made of iron concrete. The rail section is supported by arches consisting of 2 ribs each 3 meters wide, whereas the two ribs under the road section are only 1½ meters wide. This type of fracture requires scaffolding during the foundry work.

Over the water it is a steel lattice bridge. It is designed as a so-called cantilever bridge which does not require scaffolding during construction. The steel structure was built from the individual brushes so that it was constantly in balance until the entire grid puller reached.

The New Little Belt Bridge

The New Little Belt Bridge is a suspension bridge that carries a six-track motorway. It was built in the period 1965 - 1970.

The 120 meter high pylons are cast into concrete. On this they rest 1500 m long cables, which carry the bridge carrier. Each cable is 58 cm. in diameter and consists of 61 winding prefabricated sub cables.

The bridge carrier on which the roadway is built is a hollow, streamlined steel box. It is made in sections of 12 meters, which were welded together two and two before they were sailed onto the belt and hung in place hanging in the big bridge cable. They started from the middle and worked outwards.

The cache

To log the cache as found, prove that you have experienced the great boat-trip under the bridges in the Little Belt.

Write your geo-name on a piece of paper and include it in a few pictures of the bridges seen from below - i.e. minimum one image per bridge. It's also OK if you're on the pictures instead of your geo name. Choose for yourself the most beautiful solution!
The pictures must be taken from positions in the water below the middle of the bridges. It must be clear that the pictures are taken from the water side. Manipulated images will result in immediate deletion of the log.
Pictures taken from land does NOT count as fulfillment of the cache's conditions for logging.
