The Christmas Box Angel Statue was introduced to the world in the book The Christmas Box. In the book, a woman mourns the loss of her child at the base of an angel monument. In the story, the angel monument once existed, but is speculated to have been destroyed. The new angel statue was commissioned by Richard Paul Evans, in response to reports that grieving parents were seeking out the angel as a place to grieve and heal.
This Angel Statue was dedicated by the parents of Lauren Landavazo, who was killed in 2016. Lauren’s parents hope this angel statue will serve as a memorial to all lost children. They hope the angel will help loved ones heal from their grief from losing a precious child. You are invited to take a moment to gaze into the peaceful face of this angel. Remember, and give thanks for the positive love and light of a child in your life, however brief their stay on earth.
