Gwaenysgor Hill Viewpoint - Virtual Reward Virtual Cache

I placed my Virtual cache here, as I was born in North Wales and lived in Prestatyn until I was 21 years old. I often came up to "Gwaeny Hill" as I call it, when I was growing up. I used to walk up the steep hill as a child and later on I'd drive up, which was a bit hair-raising the first time! I still take a detour when I visit home, to park up and admire the lovely view, which stretches for miles and miles. I hope you will also enjoy it too.

I have set the Terrain rating as 1 for access by car. Although it is much more challenging if you walk up the hill, or if the roads are icy/snowy, due to the 33% gradient!!
