El Pedraforca és una montanya carismàtica que es troba situada en el Pre Pirineo català, entre la serra del Cadí i la de Ensija. De gairebé 2500metres d'alçada i amb dos cims separats per una gran tartera, ha generat legendes de tota mena, la més extesa és la que us explico a continuació.
Explica la llegenda, que en temps molt llunyans el Príncep de les Tenebres, el Dimoni, construí aquí una inmensa fortalesa en la que va situar a les seves forces infernals y desde la que va declarar la guerra a Deu. Des d'ella va esclavitzar tota la regió, i els seus habitants imploraven al Senyor per que els lliberés, i aquest va enviar un exercit d'àngels comandats per l'arcàngel Sant Miquel. Després d'una dura lluita van guanyar la llegió celestial i van expulsar al Dimoni i al seu exercit. Llavors Sant Miquel destruí la fortalesa amb un temible llamp que va dividir la fortalesa en dos, i així es va originar la montanya.
Deixant la llegenda a un costat, el cert és que el Pedraforca és una bella montanya i molt fotogénica.

El Pedraforca es una montaña carismática que se halla situada en el pre Pirineo catalán, entre la sierra del Cadí y la de Ensija. De casi 2500 metros de altura y con dos cumbres separadas por un gran corte, ha generado leyendas de todo tipo, la más extendida os la cuento ahora.
Dice la leyenda que en tiempos remotos el Príncipe de las Tinieblas, el Diablo, construyó aquí una inmensa fortaleza en la que situó a sus infernales fuerzas y desde la que declaró la guerra a Dios. Desde ella esclavizó a toda la región, y sus habitantes oraron al Señor para que les liberase, y éste envió a un ejercito de ángeles al mando del arcángel San Miguel. Después de una dura lucha triunfaron las legiones celestiales expulsando al Diablo y a su ejercito. Entonces San Miguel destruyo la fortaleza con un terrible rayo que partió la fortaleza en dos, y fue así como se originó la montaña.
Dejando la leyenda a un lado, lo cierto es que el Pedraforca es una bella montaña, muy fotogénica,

Pedraforca is a charismatic mountain located in the pre Pyrenees, between the Serra del Cadi and Ensija. About 2500 meters high and with two peaks separated by a great cut, has generated a lot kind of legends: I’m gonna tell you one of the most widespread stories.
It is known that in ancient times the Prince of Darkness, the Devil, built here a massive fortress that stood to their infernal forces and from which declared war to God. From there enslaved the entire region and its inhabitants prayed to the Lord to liberate them, and then he sent an army of angels in charge of the Archangel Michael. After a hard fight heavenly hosts triumphed expelling the Devil and his army. Archangel Michael then destroyed the fortress with a terrible lightning which left the fortress into two, and that’s how the mountain was originated.
Leaving the legend aside, the truth is that the Pedraforca is a beautiful mountain, very photogenic.
