Die Kopflosen von Magdeburg [DE / ENG] Virtual Cache

Nachdem ich erst im letzten Jahr nach Magdeburg gezogen bin, entdecke ich nach wie vor beim Herumspazieren durch die Stadt neue Orte. So sind mein Freund und ich eines sommerlichen Samstagabends auch zufällig in den Garten der Möllenvogtei gekommen und haben staunend die wunderschöne roman(t)ische Umgebung bewundert. Alles hier mutet ein bisschen märchenhaft und verzaubert an - und das mitten in der großen Stadt!

Since I moved to Magdeburg last year, I keep on discovering new places wandering around the city. So my boyfriend and I coincidently entered the Möllenvogtei Garden (Garten der Möllenvogtei) one summery Saturday night and admired astonished this roman(t)ic surroundings. Everythings seems a little fairytale-like and enchanted here - and all this amid the big city!

Wenn ihr euch zur gelisteten Koordinate begebt, entdeckt ihr in der Mauer des unterhalb des Fürstenwalls gelegenen Gartens einige Alkoven, in denen sich Statuen befinden. Das Besondere hierbei: Alle sind kopflos! Wie ich gelesen habe, handelt es sich bei ihnen um bei der Beräumung der Altstadt nach dem Krieg gefundene Skulpturen und Bauschmuck.

Jeder Kopflose hat eine kleine Plakette, allerdings bieten diese leider nur spärliche Informationen. Auch online findet sich kaum etwas zu dieser Schicksalsgemeinschaft der Heiligen und Götter. Umso spannender, finde ich - und möchte sie euch auf diesem Weg kurz vorstellen.

Each Headless got a little plate on it's stand, but these only offer skimpy information. Even online less can be found concerning this unintentionally community of gods and saints, brought together by fate. In my eyes this makes them even more exciting! So I came up with the idea to introduce them to you.

Um loggen zu können, ermittelt vor Ort bitte diese drei kleine Informationen:

Außerdem macht bitte ein Foto von euch im ganz linken Alkoven (Reference Point "Fotopunkt"), dieser steht nämlich leer. In Anlehnung an die Statuen dürft ihr euch selbstverständlich auch kopflos ablichten. Haltet dabei doch etwas GC-spezifisches hoch, also vielleicht einen TB oder Coin, euer GPSr oder Smartphone, tragt ein GC-Shirt oder Ähnliches. Einfach etwas, das beweist, dass nicht "irgendwer" auf dem Foto ist.

Ein erkennbar vor Ort gemachtes Foto ist Logbedingung! Logs ohne Foto ab dem 31.08.2018 werden gelöscht, um diejenigen zu schützen, die wirklich vor Ort waren!

Baut aus den gefundenen Informationen dann einfach nach folgendem Muster eine E-Mail-Adresse zusammen und mailt dorthin:

- also z.B. "zeus.herkules123@gmail.com".

Nennt im Betreff bitte eure(n) GC-Nickname(s) - Mails mit leerer Betreffzeile können nämlich im Spam-Ordner landen. Nutzt nach Möglichkeit keine GMX-Mailadresse, die werden leider ebenfalls häufig als Spam eingestuft. Der Inhalt der Mail ist egal.

Habt ihr die E-Mail-Adresse richtig zusammengesetzt, erhaltet ihr eine automatische Rückantwort und dürft loggen - auf diese Weise müsst ihr nicht auf eine händische Antwort von mir warten. Fügt eurem Log dann noch euer schickes Foto bei - und fertig!

To log your find online, find these three little pieces of information on site near the listed coordinates:

In addition to that, please take a photo of yourself in the most left alcove (Reference Point "Fotopunkt"), which is vacant. Based on the headless statues you're welcome to take a photo displaying you headless. Please hold some geocaching-specified item on the photo, maybe a coin or TB, your smartphone / GPSr or decide to wear a GC-themed shirt. Just something indentifying you as not "anybody" or a muggle.

A photo recognizable taken on site is a mandatory condition to log! Logs without a photo posted from now on (beginning August 31st, 2018) will be deleted to protect people who had really been on site.

With the found information, build up an e-mail-adress following this pattern and adress it:

- e.g. "zeus.hercules123@gmail.com" .

Please mention your GC-nickname(s) in the mail subject - mails without a subject tend to be marked as spam. If possible, avoid using a GMX-Mail account, since these addresses unfortunately are often treated as spam. The e-mail's content itself doesn't matter at all.

In case you built up the e-mail-adress correctly, you'll recieve an automatic answer - then you're allowed to log your find. By this means you don't have to wait for an individual handwritten message from me. Add your fancy photo to the log - and you're done!

Aus gegebenem Anlass:

Ihr meint es sicherlich gut, aber im Moment habe ich leider so wenig Zeit für's Geocaching, dass mich die Anzahl der Nachrichten sonst erschlägt und einfach nur meinen Posteingang zumüllt!

Ob eure Antworten richtig sind, erfahrt ihr ja bei automatischer Antwort von der Adresse - und dass ihr vor Ort wart, beweist ja euer Foto.
