Groundspeak pre nás pripravil prekvapenie a v obmedzenom počte povolil publikovanie nových virtuálnych keší. Prvýkrát od roku 2005 iba 4.000 ownerov zo 63 krajín na celom svete môže v priebehu roka založiť jednu takúto kešku. No a ja mám tú česť, priniesť do Košíc jednu z nich.
Ikonou Košíc je samozrejme Dóm sv. Alžbety. Kam inam by patrila prvá košická virtuálka? 😊 Poučné informácie o tejto stavbe si môžeš prečítať napríklad aj v listingoch blízkych keší, ale hádam úplne všetko nájdeš na wikipédii. Pred Tvojou návštevou Ti tiež odporúčam pozrieť si unikátnu virtuálnu 3D prehliadku stoviek košických objektov.
Ja Ti teraz pripomeniem jednu zaujímavú a zábavnú legendu, o ktorej je táto virtuálka a o ktorej nevedia ani všetci Košičania. Strecha Dómu je odvodňovaná pomocou viacerých chrličov. Tieto mali okrem odvádzania dažďovej vody aj odstrašujúcu funkciu. Všetky sú zoomorfné a zobrazujú rôzne zvieracie motívy a motívy príšer. Všetky, až na jeden. Výnimkou je chrlič na fasáde Matejovej veže, ktorý zobrazuje opitú ženu s pohárikom v jednej ruke a schovávajúcu fľašu v ruke druhej. K tomuto chrliču sa viaže legenda, že takto nechal zvečniť a potrestať svoju manželku za jej pijanstvo jeden zo staviteľov chrámu, majster Štefan.
Tvojou úlohou bude prísť do Košíc, vyhľadať Dóm svätej Alžbety a nájsť tento jedinečný chrlič. Povinnou podmienkou na zalogovanie tejto virtuálky sú dve fotky, ktoré priložíš k svojmu logu:
1. Na prvej fotografii pred Dómom budeš Ty (foto tváre nie je povinné), prípadne odfotíš svoje xWG alebo inú svoju osobnú vec,
2. na druhej fotografii bude detail (výrez) chrliča, ktorý zobrazuje opitú ženu.
Očakávam, že Tvoje fotky budú obsahovať príslušné EXIF informácie o dátume a čase vyhotovenia, a teda nebudú stiahnuté z iných zdrojov. Lebo inak... o svoj cenný úlovok môžeš prísť... 😉
One of the Icons of Košice city is the St. Elisabeth’s Cathedral. Where to place the first virtual in Košice, if not there? Much useful information you can find in the listings of the neighbouring geocaches. But almost everything about you can read on wikipedia. Prior your visit I'd highly recommend you've gone for an unique virtual 3D tour at hundreds of Kosice facilities.
For the purpose of this virtual geocache I would mention one related interesting and funny legend. Not even all of the Košice inhabitants are familiar with. Under the roof of the Dome, there are several gargoyles. All of them take any animal or beast form. With one exception... There is a legend about the gargoyle of the drunk woman – it is said that she was the master builder's alcoholic wife. The legend says that because she was tarnishing his reputation by her appearance in the town, he made her a gargoyle forever.
Your task will be visit to Košice, approach the Cathedral and search for that particular gargoyle. Mandatory requirement to log this virtual geocache are two photographs, which you attach to your log:
1. on the first picture you shall either take a photo of yourself (no need for your face on the picture), or take a photo of your xWG or any other personalised item in front of the Cathedral,
2. on the second picture, there will be a detail (picture cut) of that particular gargoyle of the drunk woman clearly visible.
My estimation is, that your photographs will contain the corresponding EXIF information about the date and time of the picture taken. Otherwise... you could miss this unique chance...
