The Tee Pees were built in the 1947 and abandoned in the 1980s. Once used as part of a movie set in a remake of Lolita they were repainted in 1996 , but then abandoned again. The Tee Pees remained in disrepair until 2003 when purchased and restored by lottery winners who are committed to protecting this unique piece of Americana. Many have driven from far and wide to see this historic architecture from a time gone by. One of the most famous guests of the past was Elvis Presley.
