WINNER OF THE GOLD MEDAL AT THE PARIS WORLD FAIR IN 1855, THIS FOUNTAIN AND ANOTHER LIKE IT STOOD AT BOTH ENDS OF LES ALLÉES DE TOURNY IN BORDEAUX, FRANCE. IT IS BEING PRESENTED AS A GIFT TO THE CITY OF QUÉBEC ON THE OCCASION OF ITS 400TH ANNIVERSARY BY; LA MAISON SIMONS, FOUNDED IN QUEBEC CITY IN 1840

Durant le Carnaval de Québec vous avez aussi la possibilité de mettre le Palais du Bonhomme Carnaval en arrière-plan. Ou… Vous pouvez aussi mettre une photo de vous toujours avec votre GPS/téléphone intelligent avec la Fontaine de Tourny (aucune obligation de mettre votre visage) !
To log this virtual as found, here's what you need to do : first, go to GZ, then take a picture of your GPS/smart phone with, in the background, the Fontaine de Tourny and the Parliament. During the winter, you can also take a picture of the Fontaine de Tourny but instead of the parliament, you can take the Ice Palace. It's only available during the Quebec City Winter Carnival. If you wish, instead of your GPS/smart phone, you can upload a picture of yourself with the Fontaine de Tourny, but you don't need to show your face. Enjoy !
