Hallentoren Tielt

De trots van Tielt, dat is ongetwijfeld de Hallentoren. Dit imposante gebouw met belfort siert dan ook al jaar en dag deze stad. Meer zelfs, sinds 1275 is de Hallentoren hét symbool van de stad. Het middeleeuwse economische en sociale leven speelde zich af rond deze Lakenhalle en het inmiddels verdwenen Schepenhuys. De Hallentoren kende verschillende transformaties. Zijn huidige vorm dateert uit de jaren 1558-1560, behalve de wapenschilden van belangrijke families en heerlijkheden die tijdens de restauratie in 1890 werden aangebracht. De peervormige campanile bevat een zeldzame Du Méry-beiaard. In 1773 maakten de Brugse klokkengieters Du Méry het mogelijk te genieten van sfeervolle deuntjes. Misschien heb je geluk en geniet je momenteel van een muziekje! De Hallentoren werd in 1999 opgenomen op de lijst van werelderfgoed van UNESCO.
Ook blinden kunnen genieten van de Hallentoren.
Naast de Hallentoren vindt u een kleine bronzen replica van deze Hallentoren. Het is de bedoeling dat ook slechtzienden en blinden deze toren kunnen bewonderen door de toren te voelen.
Rond de hallentoren vindt u ook 3 standbeelden terug die vervaardigd zijn door Jef Claerhout.

Opdracht:
– Neem een foto bij één van de standbeelden vervaardigd door Jef Claerhout. Het is niet verplicht herkenbaar op de foto te staan, maar het zou wel leuk zijn.
– Zoek bij de bronzen replica van de Hallentoren naar het woord helemaal onderaan rechts van het volledige tekstpaneel.
Om deze Virtual als found te loggen, ga je als volgt te werk:
Plaats het gevonden woord in volgend emailadres: ……….@telenet.be
Stuur een email naar dit adres. Als het gevonden woord correct is, ontvang je automatisch een email dat u mag loggen (check ook zeker uw spamfolder), en voeg uiteraard de gevraagde foto toe aan uw log!

The pride of Tielt, that is undoubtedly the Hallentoren. Since 1275 the hall tower is the symbol of the city. Medieval economic and social life took place around this Lakenhalle and the already disappeared Schepenhuys. The Hallentoren knew different transformations. Its present form dates back to the 1558-1560, except the coat of arms of important families and delights made during the restoration of 1890. The pear-shaped campanile contains a rare Du Méry carillon. In 1773 the Brugse bellmakers Du Méry made it possible to enjoy pleasant tunes. Maybe you're lucky and you're enjoying a music! The Hallentoren was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999.
Even the blind people can enjoy the Hallentorren.

- Take a picture at one of the statues made by Jef Claerhout. It is not necessary to be recognizable in the picture, but it would be nice.
- Search at the bronze replica of the Hallentoren the word at the bottom right of the entire text panel.
To log this Virtual as found, follow these steps:
