This is a huge kid and family friendly geocache. We have tried to make this a very simple hike through our private property. Start by going up Opal Lane. Do not cross caution tape! The trail takes you through a small area of red Pines and ferns. We feel that this homemade trail will cheer you up. Park & go down Geo Fern Trail. Check the mail to see if you have anything waiting for you at Butler County's largest geocache.
This geocache has 5 travel bugs that need to move. We have since added a locked deep freezer for larger items to trade. I believe this is the largest geocache in Butler County currently. It may be the largest in Western Pennsylvania, but don't want to make any claims until we have seen all the large geocaches in the area. Currently it only has a few items in it, but we will soon add some cool items and maybe even start a book trade. I place a basket with containers, logs and other supplies if you need something to create a new hide for yourself. The rest is toys, coins and miscellaneous swag. Feel free to trade a travel Bug. We will be sure to keep it safe and moving. Please post a pic of your find. We tried to put a few interesting things in the hide for the first to find. photos of your find and journey are welcome. Please stay on the maintained trail the whole time during your journey. I have mowed this and cut bushes back so that no one will come in contact with stinging nettles, poison ivy or ticks. We did our best to make it very obvious as to where the geocache is hidden. If you have any question as to where you're going, then you are probably in the wrong place.do not cross caution tape! Make sure you enter through Opal Lane. Fluorescent orange will assist you to find 106 Fave Point Hideout. The cache has a lock on it. The key for the lock is located on the bottom of the geocache in the rear. I have included photographs of several points of interest to help you as well. This is our private property and we would appreciate if people only came during daylight hours. Don't forget to post a photo of yourself if you would like. We love to see all the visitors!
