Šo slēpni veidojām par godu savai skolai.
Rīgas Valsts 1.ģimnāzija ir vecākā skola Baltijā. Tā tika nodibināta 1211.gadā - desmitgadi pēc pašas Rīgas dibināšanas.
Mūsdienās ģimnāzija ir zināma kā skola ar padziļinātu novirzienu matemātikā, dabas zinātnēs un informātikā. Skolēniem, kuri vēlas mācīties šajā skolā, ir jānokārto eksāmens matemātikā. Uz vienu vietu konkurē apmēram 6 skolēni.
Rīgas Valsts 1.ģimnāzija ir labākā skola Latvijā. Tās skolēnu rezultāti valsts eksāmenos ir augstākie valstī jau vairākus gadus pēc kārtas. Skolēni ieguvuši arī labus rezultātus valsts un starptautiskajās olimpiādēs.

This cache is a tribute to our school.
Riga State Gymnasium No.1 (latvian: Rīgas Valsts 1. ģimnāzija) is the oldest school in the Baltic States. It was founded in 1211, a decade after the foundation of Riga itself.
Today the gymnasium is known for its strong programs in mathematics, natural sciences and computer science.
Students wishing to enroll at the school take an admissions test in mathematics. There are about six candidates competing for each position.
Riga State Gymnasium No.1 is ranked first among the schools in Latvia. Its students' average results on school leaving (state) exams have been the highest in the country for many years in a row. Riga State Gymnasium No.1 is also the best school in Latvia based on its students' achievements at various domestic and international academic competitions.
Many of the graduates continue their education at highly ranked universities abroad, particularly in the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Austria and the USA.

1. Staatsgymnasium Riga ist die älteste Schule im Baltikum. Sie wurde im Jahre 1221 gegründet - nur eine Dekade nach der Rigaer Gründung.
Heute ist das Gymnasium als eine Schule mit erweiterten Mathematik, Naturwissenschaft und Informatik-Unterricht bekannt.
Die Schüler, die in dieser Schule lernen möchten, müssen eine Prüfung in Mathematik passen. Auf einen Platz konkurrieren umgefähr 6 Schüler.
