Geocache Description:

Between Big & Little Talbot Islands

Park alongside the road around N30 27.707;W 081 25.574. It is not recommended that you park in the small parking area you will see on the east side of the road as this area gets wet during high tides. While a part of the state park, no parking fee is required along this stretch of the road. If it has rained recently or is near a high tide, parts of the area will be marshy, so don't wear your fashion shoes. You will probably see millions of small fiddler crabs scurrying around to get out of your way. While these small crabs will make every effort to avoid you, don't be fooled by their size as they will pinch you if you try to pick one up. Walk to the parking area mentioned above. Follow the 'well-blazed' trail that runs in a NE direction paralleling the forest on your right. You will generally be walking parallel to the creek as it winds its way to Nassau Sound and the ocean. Cache is a painted tupperware container and initial contents were: logbook; hair clasp, carbiner, dress watch (needs battery); serentity coin; $1 gaming token from Blackhawk CO casino; various computer CDs (please take only one); Christmas ornament; tube of hand/body lotion. Enjoy.
