There is a stunning view from this place all the way to Doi Suthep and the city of Chiang Mai.
To get to the viewpoint go down the street until you see a golden entrance to the temple on your right.
Go into this and drive all the way in. At the back of the compound you will find a staircase you can take to
the top of the mountain or if you would rather drive up that is also possible.
Please note that the road up for cars is steep and you will need a 4-WD car.
Once you are up at the viewpoint and you stand at the sign you can see three high-rise buildings on the horizon.
Those buildings are the three big condominium buildings around Central Festival.
You will also see all the Logan Orchids and the rice paddies from the viewpoint.
When you walk back from the chedi to the stair case and you look between the trees you can see the water reservoir.
This water reservoir was build on instruction by King Rama 9 of Thailand. It serves the purpose of water irrigation
for all the Long An Orchids in the area.
If you would like to visit the reservoir go back down to the entrance of the temple and turn right.
Keep going straight and you will end up at the reservoir.
