Geocache Description:

Come and see the hidden wonder that is the Streatham Community Garden

We are meeting here again at 11am - 2pm but you are welcome to stay longer. We will meet by the coordinates and then walk down to the garden. There is a car park just along from the coordinates and parking along the roads. The common is well served by public transport.

The garden has a fantastic task for us but it will be physically hard work. If you are worried it might be too hard for you there are other jobs to suit all abilities. We will be digging holes to plant tree roots in. The tree roots then get covered in soil and have plants in to attract insects that are essential for pollination. The garden has lots of tools but it would be great if you could bring your own gloves. Refreshments will be provided but please feel free to bring food and drinks. Also wear boots or strong shoes and suitable clothing for the weather. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
