Gamla Banvallen Gamla Banvallen i Nyhammar sträckte sig i Nord – Sydlig riktning ca 1,4 km mellan Abeckshyttan, nuvarande Nyhammars Bruk och Stakhedens kajplats vid Bysjön. Järnvägen användes för att transportera järnmalm till bruket och tackjärn från bruket. Bitvis är vallen uppbyggd ca 2 m, bitvis går den i 2 meter djupa diken. Idag är den delvis borta, delvis asfalterad väg och delvis grusväg. Det är svårt att få fram när den invigdes och lades ned så om nån har information om detta skicka gärna till CO. The old Railroad in Nyhammar stretched in the north-south direction about 1.4 km between the Abecksmill, the current Nyhammar Factory and Stakhedens harbor at Bysjön. The railroad was used to transport iron ore to the mill and pig iron from the mill. In part, the valley is built about 2 m, sometimes it is in 2 meters deep dikes. Today it is partly gone, partly paved road and partly dirt road. It's hard to get it when it was opened and closed so if anyone has information about this, please send it to CO.
