Lady's Fountain Spring
Lady's Fountain Spring is the source of the river Holford, a lesser known river in the East Quantock Hills. The river is approximately 4.5 Miles long and descends from the GZ through Frog Combe, through Holford before emerging at Kilve beach. If you studied a geography related subject and went to school in this region, it is highly likely you conducted fieldwork on this river, which provides an almost 'textbook' example of changes in channel morphology over a fairly short region.
This location is regularly visited by walkers in these parts, but not many people know this is the source of the river Holford. If you have time, I highly recommend following this river down to Kilve beach.
This is a micro cache that fits in well with the surroundings. You will need tweezers to extract the log.
