Geocache Description:

Welcome to a Sac County Conservation Board nature area!


This 86 acre park lies along the North Raccoon River & serves as the headquarters of the Sac County Conservation Board.  Hagge Park is mostly wooded with a mix of oak, hickory and ash trees. Hagge Park is a great place for fishing, canoeing, camping, picnicking and hiking.

  • Home of the Sac County Conservation Center, open year round.
  • 15 shaded campsites with water, sewer and electrical hookups.
  • Enclosed shelterhouse w/fireplace, outdoor grills, indoor restroom.
  • Seasonal camping cabin available for rent sleeps 6.
  • Gazebo used for outdoor weddings. 
  • Playground equipment.
  • Lowhead dam found in the North Raccoon River for fishing opportunities & canoe access.
  • Bow hunting allowed, NO Firearms are allowed in park.
  • Campground, cabin and shelter open May 1st and close mid-October.
