Please note - this cache is in a potentially dangerous location and seeking it is done at your own risk! Legal entry points (PWAs) are provided, other entry points may be considered trespassing on private property. The terrain rating reflects the need to travel a significant distance on water. I strongly recommend against doing this one during winter, I doubt the ice would ever be thick enough here.
You should also know that this island is owned by Anoka County Parks Department and they only allow geocaching during normal park hours, which is 6AM until 30 minutes after sunset. However, it is possible to gather the necessary information without landing the island.
