Cry Havoc!! It's a new American strain if I don't miss my bet; licensed from a legend in the homebrewing world and technically a lagering yeast, though they say you can do it as an ale as well to add a lot of flexibility. Funny thing, it lists optimum fermentation temp for ales as 50-55F which I guarantee I was way out of (at least 60F, but likely pushing 65F). If a person's got temperature control, I suspect they can do the full lagering temps (32-37F) and don't need to worry about ales with this batch. But whatevs. Check the web before you select style, cuz I make no claims of perfect accuracy in my from-the-top-of-the-head descriptions. ;)
Enjoy the walk! If done right, you could get a 5 mile round trip walk in by the time you're done!
