Let's clean up City Park! We will meet at the coords where the big pavilion is, it's a first come first serve pavilion, so be prepared to be flexible. I will make an announcement if we move at the last minute. After visiting a few minutes feel free to make your way around the park picking up trash. There is a nice paved walking trail around the "lake" or you can venture into the woods or playground areas. Meanwhile, Pizzaboy2600 will fire up the grill and have some tasty food ready for us once we're finished cleaning and have worked up an appetite! There are plenty of caches in the park if you haven't gotten them yet, as well as a disc golf course if you want to play before or afterwards.
Schedule of Events:
10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Clean up Van Buren City Park (trashbags will be provided by Keep Van Buren Beautiful, bring grabbers if you have them, gloves and proper footwear)
11:05 a.m.: Group picture with trash
11:05 a.m. - 12 p.m. Lunch (please let us know what you plan on bringing and I will keep and updated list on the page) We will provide hamburgers/hot dogs and bottled water. We will need chips, dessert, buns, condiments, side items, plates, silverware, etc.
