Geocache Description:

This cache is placed as part of a new series which focuses on how geocaches were originally placed; no P&G or tiny magnetic nano here. This is an ammo can filled with TRADEABLE swag and 2 trackables to move along. If you take something out, please leave something of equal value. The log book placed inside is large enough for you to write about your adventure. Also, take and post pictures of your experience, but please not of the container or location (if so they will be removed).

This cache is placed on public hunting and fishing grounds. Please be respectful to others that you may encounter here. For the safety of yourself and anyone who may be in your group, please where blaze orange during hunting season or just simply reserve your search for a time during the year when hunters will not be in these woods.

We suggest you wear long pants and good hiking gear. Bug repellent would be a good choice, if you are searching for this cache in the spring, summer, or fall seasons.

Round trip distance for the cache is about 1 mile. Park at the posted coordinates off of Stratton Lake Road; here you will find a trail which will start you on your journey, but will cease to exist as you get further into the area.
