Holy muggles! We've brought you to the best view in NYC but you're going to have to be stealthy to nab this one without being caught by Muggles. Just a few short years ago, Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park was an abandoned, neglected shipping pier. It's now home to the sports complex at BBP. This spot has iconic views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan skyline and even the Statue of Liberty. However my favorite part about this locations was it's role in the one the funniest movies of all time - Trading Places with Dan Akroyd & Eddie Murphy. Pier 2 was the shooting location of the scene where the 'gorillas' were loaded onto a barge to be shipped back to Africa. In fact, it was shot in the exact location where you are standing.
The cache is a small magnetic tin that is big enough to hold a geo-coin or even a small trackable. There is a special small surprise in the cache for the FTF. Please make sure to use all your stealth and replace it far enough back under so it's not visible.
This is a very tourist friendly cache and we expect people from all over the world to find it. It's not required, but we'd like to hear where you are from. So, if you like, let us know your hometown.
