Southwest of Moab Utah, at Hurrah Pass on the Kane Creek Road.
From the south side of Moab at the McDonald's Restaurent on Main Street, take Kane Creek Road west. Bear left at the first fork and head south following the Colorado River.The pavement ends at 4.7 miles where the road swings left away from the river.(reset odometer here) Continue on a wide gravel road at 1.3 miles stop and look right for Indian writings on a large boulder. The pass is reached at 9.7 miles from the end of the pavement. The road is suitable for two-wheel drive vehicles with high ground clearance.
