This cache celebrates the retirement, and release to society-in-large, of one of our local geocaching giantesses. (!!!??.. the more I think about the diction here the more worried I get!!!??) The cacher in question spent a significant portion of her life employed in nearby industry, so it seemed fitting to commemorate her dedication to her career and her final retirement, and particularly to do so in the nearby neighborhood.
The Missus' and my interest in our pastime was well known amongst her co-workers; and at her “going-away” celebration, one of her colleagues shared an anecdote of an instance in which the colleague happened to be driving down a nearby thoroughfare, and had spotted the Missus and another individual (yup... probably meself!!!) emerging from thick vegetation alongside the road --- you can imagine the take on that situation by those present!!! Of course, we were returning to the road after nabbing another geocache!!!?? (Yup!!! That's our story and we be sticking to it!!!)
One could wax philosophical about the changes in lifestyle in store for Mrs. F (and the Mister too... the latter had arranged one last job since the Missus had originally planned on working until mid-year, but then the “weaselette” had bailed early!!?? You know, the lack of dedication of the youngsters these days amazes one!!!)... Anyway, to cease the pontification... “GOOD LUCK Mrs. Frahmanator!!!” “And many happy geocaches, too!!!”
