Little Free Library cache. Only sign the official log book. Random paper logs left in the cache are not eligible to be signed as the cache log. If you want to place any books in here, it's only for horticulture related books. Usually the second Saturday in May (May 12, 2018 this year), there are people from the MonarchWatch organization to educate you on the life cycle of the Monarch and the types of plants they need for host plants for their caterpillars. Behind the library is a garden full of trees and flowers planted specifically to be host plants for various species of butterfly caterpillars. And there are nectar plants for the butterflies themselves. Take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful blooms. Many of the trees and flowers are labeled as to what they are and what caterpillar uses them as a host plant. If you go during school hours, go inside the brick building that has the sign that says monarchwatch.org on it and ask if you can look at their butterflies. Sometimes they have cages of many monarchs as well as other kinds of butterflies in all cycles of their lives. They do various studies on the butterflies in the building before releasing. The parking coordinates take you to where there are parking meters to pay for parking. There are four of these spots available. There is more parking in this lot that is free IF you come here after student hours. The signs at the various lots tell what hours you can't park there unless you have the right permit. If you ignore the signs and park when you shouldn't, you may get a ticket.
