This event will take place in Brooktree Park in Citrus Heights.
There are picnic tables nearby as well as a playground and baseball fields.
There are even a few geocaches nearby, including EarthCaches!
On Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, earn a new souvenir by learning about the Earth! All you have to do is go out and find an EarthCache during the weekend of International EarthCache Day 2017!
Finding an EarthCache is a great way to learn about the Earth. These geocaches do not have physical containers, but instead bring you to unique locations to teach you a geological science lesson.
I have developed over 40 EarthCaches in 2 U.S. states, they are my most hidden cache type. These EarthCaches cover a wide variety of geologic features and subjects. For this event, I will (try to) answer any questions anyone may have about the development process of EarthCaches or questions about EarthCaches in general. I LOVE EarthCaches and I believe it's important for everyone to know everything they can about my favorite type of geocache.
Before this event takes place, try to think of questions to ask about EarthCaches!
This even will take place on Saturday, October 7th starting at 1 PM and will "end" at 2:15 PM (I usually stick around for a while after my events have ended.)
