THE GEOCACHE is a family friendly, six inch (15cm) cube lock&lock container, in a camo bag, covered with additional natural camo, hidden in the ivy at the base of a tree shaped like a fan, in a high corner of Hound Corner, overlooking the road junction. Hound Corner is used by dog walking muggles so beware. There are swaps, a paper log and pencils, and plenty of room for Travel Bugs. Wellies are recommended in wet weather. There is a dip with a boardwalk just off Hound Road, which fills to form a pond in the autumn and winter. The geocache is deployed with the kind permission of Hound Parish Council.
THE VENUE for the HO series is a family friendly group in Hound Corner and St Mary's Wood, in Hound. Some sections are road walks with paths but beware of traffic, and other sections are countryside tracks some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended. Please use the tracks and gates provided. There are lots of seats and a small pergola in the cemetery.
