Located inside of the South Higgins Lake State Park near the campground office. Parking is available in the park with short walking distance to cache, recreation passport or day pass required for vehicle entry. Alternately, parking is available at the nearby businesses outside of the park, with a foot-path gate along the fence accessing the park.
Cache is a small sized container with room for logbook only.
The location of this cache is an often overlooked section of the park, but likely to be full of foot-traffic & bikes during the summer, and cross-country skiers & snowshoes during the winter. It is a nature signpost with "Higgins History" just off of the former old foot-path nature trail- which this section of trail is now recently re-developed during the summer of '17 as the new multi-use bike pathway connection in the park.
