So, back in the day, Meowdoc and I used to host event parties at our personal residence. We posted coordinates, brought in a bunch of food and drinks, and then waited for random cachers to arrive. This was a great way for us to meet the Geocaching public, and it was a blast to boot. These events ran from 2004 through 2008 and had over 140 attendees. We were introduced to some of our closest Geocaching buddies at these events – we retain fond memories of these events.
In honor of those events Odysseus2000 provided me with a container for this hide, but unlike Homer’s Iliad, you don’t have to make Homer happy to log this find (for those who aren’t puzzlers, Homer (above) approves or rejects your coordinates when you put them into Certitude's Geocheckers).
