Ogni anno sono migliaia i turisti che visitano il lago di Lochness, in Scozia, nella speranza di incontrare il famoso mostro detto anche Nessie.
Senza andare molto lontani, pare che anche il nostro Lago di Como (o Lario) nasconda un terribile mostro marino: il lariosauro. Il Lago di Como come Lochness quindi?
Da anni sono in corso avvistamenti relativi a un animale marino che sfugge alla zoologia canonica. Tante le testimonianze, anche se nelle acque del lago si sarebbero pescate anche delle enormi carpe. Il che fa pensare che il mostro del Lago di Como altro non sia che una banalissima carpa.
Tuttavia i sommozzatori che si sono immersi oltre i centro metri sotto il livello delle acque scure del lago hanno scoperto alcune caverne e anfratti in cui sono stati trovati resti di reti di pescatori e altri oggetti. Il che farebbe pensare alla presenza di un essere vivente che si aggira proprio in quelle caverne.
Inoltre, nel 2002 a Dervio, in provincia di Lecco, sulla sponda orientale del lago , è stata scattata una foto che ritrarrebbe il lariosauro. Come nel caso del mostro di Lochness anche questa potrebbe essere un fake ma il dubbio resta.
Il lariosauro è un animale realmente esistito. Si trattava di un rettile acquatico, ormai estinto, vissuto 235 milioni di anni fa. I suoi resti fossili sono stati ritrovati in Europa, tra cui anche nel Nord Italia. Il primo esemplare, infatti, venne alla luce nel 1830 a Perledo, una località nei pressi del Lago di Como, sulla stessa sponda del lago nella provincia di Lecco.
Non esistono ancora prove scientifiche sull’esistenza del lariosauro, ma il fascino che queste leggende suscitano in noi è innegabile. Mostri, draghi e creature misteriose sono presenti sin dalla notte dei tempi.
Every year thousands of tourists visit Lake Lochness, Scotland, hoping to meet the famous monster called Nessie.
Without going too far, it seems that even our Lake Como (or Lario) is hiding a terrible sea monster: the lariosaurus. Lake Como as Lochness then?
For years there have been sightings of a sea animal escaping from canonical zoology. There were so many testimonies, even if in the waters of the lake some of the huge carps were also caught. Which makes me think that the monster of Lake Como is nothing more than a banal carp.
However, divers who dived beyond the mid-meters beneath the lake's dark waters have discovered some caves and ravines where rivers of fishermen and other objects have been found. Which would make you think of the presence of a living being in those caves.
In addition, in 2002 in Dervio, in the province of Lecco, on the eastern shore of the lake, a photo was taken that would portray the lariosaurus. Like Lochnyon's monster, this could be a fake one, but the doubt remains.
The lariosaurus is an animal that really existed. It was an aquatic reptile, extinct, lived 235 million years ago. Its fossil remains have been found in Europe, including also in Northern Italy. The first specimen came to light in 1830 in Perledo, a town near Lake Como, on the same bank of the lake in the province of Lecco.
There is no scientific evidence of the existence of lariosaurus, but the fascination that these legends arouse in us is undeniable. Monsters, dragons, and mysterious creatures are present from the night of the times.
