Park on the West end of Malone Road, and start walking up the retired logging road (thru the gate). Follow the gentle climb, across the power lines, and onward. If you check out “Unique Rock” you are on the right path. Continue along the road, take the First Right 90 degree turn onto an old skid trail; take the next left on a skid trail, and enter a clearing – call it Old Fort Ladysmith – the youth have been working here.; then find the bike trail heading SW.
The area is a good place for rest break and an overview of the Pipeline. Re-hide well please. Bring your own writing object.
