It's known by many names around the world but all the stories have one thing in common. A large, hairy, 8 feet or more in height bipedal humanoid. Characterized by large footprints and having a strong, unpleasant odour. Some have also reported trees shaking and branches breaking.
In my own experience several years ago while hunting from a tree stand in the pre-dawn darkness, I heard a tremendous crash behind me which sounded like a tree breaking. There was no wind at the time and it was deathly quiet after. When trail cameras were becoming popular, I captured a photo which I believe is no ordinary animal. Check the images on the cache page and decide for yourself. I have placed a cache near where I once hunted. If you are afraid to venture in I understand. I'm still spooked every time I go there.
A short bushwhack from the highway.
