This is a quick and easy cache to find. The cache is located at the Woombye Pioneers time capsule. Parking is at the church, just a 30 metre walk to the cache.This cache makes you think about the history of Woombye and brings you to a quaint little town. The cache is a stainless steel container ( that has been badly painted green). The cache is located near a school, so try to avoid pick up and drop off times due to pesky muggles walking by.
At ground zero you will find a small green/oval and a small time capsule and monument.
A brief history of Woombye
Woombye was originally a stop on the Cobb and Co coach line, to the Gympie gold fields in the 1800s. Nowdays, Woombye is a small town surrounded by farm lands and views of the Blackall Range. Woombye is a small town with a thriving culture. There are many coffee shops and a handful of individual stores.
