Named Jack Tindale Park in recent years after a well respected local identity, this park has been known as the Rylstone Water Hole for generations. The cache is hidden away from the river as it is known to flood here in times of heavy rain.
It is on a broad section of the Cudgegong River, you can see giant concrete steps where spectators could overlook swimming events held in another era. Also popular with the young on a hot summers night.
A good spot to cast a fishing line, have a picnic, or watch for platypus.
